MINI REFLECTION ON CIP (9th July'05) BY......Z3phyr

What is this freaking event about?

Ans: Well, its a freaking collection event of the entire school. Well basically, the whole school is going out into the neighbourhood to collect old newspapers, electronics appliances, etc. Through this event, the school hoped to raise donation for the Red Cross Home or the Pupils' Needy Fund. Its starts at 9am and ended at 12pm on 9th July'05.

So do you think this event is useful?

Ans: More than useful actually( i think), its almost showering them(the organisation in need) with money. The amount of items collected was fair beyond my estimation. Its a lot and I do really mean A LOT...

What are you in charge of?

Ans: Well... 4/6 and my class, 4/7 were assigned to sort out the items collected. The whole farking school thout it was easy but it was not. They thout we are smart and thus would be able to work faster but they were wrong...

What actually happened?

Ans: Oh well... nothing much... Its just that we did extra 2 hours of CIP. Nothing much at ALL.

Are you mad about doing extra hours of CIP?

Ans: Of course not! Even though as stated above, I may sound a bit mad for doing extras but nah... I am not mad at all... I think its was a pretty good event that truely makes everyone of us to learn the spirit of volunteerism.

What is the most freaking event happened during the process of sorting?

Ans: Oh well, nothing much...its just that Andy nearly fell from a two-storey high container full of newpapers...But luckily, we managed to grab him before he falls. Next would be me nearly being buried alive under the piles of newspaper. Erm... does Jo being hit by piles of newspaper counts?? Or Daniel's wallet is lost in the piles of clothes and soft toys?? Or Peter wearing bras??

What maddens you most during the process?

Ans: I was actually quite mad about one particular basturd who block my way while I was helping sorting the newspaper. Damn him!! Farking ass-hole better get out of my freaking way!! Can't stand him standing in front of me, acting as though he knew nothing. Simply don't want to lend a hand to form the human chain and transport the newspaper into the container arghz!!

What lesson have you learned through this event?

Ans: Singaporeans do waste lots of paper... especially newspapers. Just from Marsiling and Woodland itself required two two-storey high retangular containers! One more thing is that I think my class do have some weirdos. OH!!! ONE LAST THING!! I WOULD NOT TOUCH NEWSPAPER AGAIN!!! Kind of suffering from newspapers phobia after this...

Overall, how would you conclude this event?

Ans: I think such event is great in fact I think through this event my class ties had strengthen...( I think...) Its was quite a meanful day and through this event, I realised that Singaporeans are paper wasting freaks!!
